Fluvir 75 mg contains Oseltamivir, an antiviral medicine used to treat and prevent influenza (flu) caused by influenza virus types A and B. It is the generic version of Tamiflu. This medicine helps reduce flu symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, and body aches, and shortens recovery time if taken early.

Uses:

• Treatment of influenza (flu) in adults and children
• Prevention of flu in people exposed to the virus
• Reduces severity and duration of flu symptoms

How it works:
Fluvir blocks the action of an enzyme called neuraminidase, which the flu virus needs to spread in the body. By stopping the virus from multiplying, it helps the immune system fight off infection faster.

Administration:

• Take orally with or without food (food may reduce stomach upset)
• Best results if started within 48 hours of flu symptoms
• Dosage and duration as prescribed by the doctor
